4 Community Events Happening In March

March is here! This means the weather is warming and spring is right around the corner. There are a number of fun and unique events taking place in Albuquerque this month, from BBQ shows to theatre festivals. Albuquerque Community Events

1. Fiery Foods and BBQ Show: The 2019 National Fiery Foods and BBQ Show will take place from today through March 3^rd at the Sandia Resort and Casino (30 Rainbow Road NE). The event is open from 4 pm until 8 pm today, 11 am until 7 pm Saturday, and 10 am until 6 pm on Sunday. Admission is $15.50 per person. There will be over a thousand different spicy and BBQ-related items for sale, from vendors around the world.
2. Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Show: The Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Spring Show will take place at EXPO New Mexico from Match 8^th through the 10^th. The event will be located at 300 San Pedro Drive NE. The show starts daily at 10 am and features work from artists and craftspeople from around the country. You can view and purchase leather and pottery goods, woodwork, and food, and enjoy live entertainment and food samplings! Find something truly unique!
3. Revolutions International Theatre Festival: The 19^th Annual Revolutions International Theatre Festival is happening from March 9^th through the 30^th. The festival takes place at the Tricklock Performance Laboratory on 110 Gold Avenue SW. Admission starts at $64 and features artists and works from around the world, all designed to be political, dangerous, challenging, fascinating, and truly unique.
4. Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest: The Southwest Chocolate Festival takes place from March 16^th through the 17^th at EXPO New Mexico, featuring chocolates and coffees from around the world!
