We’re going to dedicate this blog to the Albuquerque, NM, community. We want to cover four upcoming events happening this weekend, so you can plan some community fun with your friends and family. Community Events
- Ours The Zia Sun: Learn about the origins and impact of the beautiful Zia sun symbol with this exhibit at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center on 2401 12st Street NW from now through October 20th. A fun and educational exhibit for the entire family to enjoy!
- Albuquerque Isotopes Baseball: From now through September 29th you can enjoy games from our very own Isotopes at Isotopes Park on 1601 Avenida Cesar Chavez Southeast. Prices range from $7 to $25. Enjoy a ball game with your friends and family, supporting a local team in the process!
- Downtown Growers’ Market: The Downtown Growers’ Market takes place every Saturday morning from 8am until noon from now through November 2nd at Robinson Park on 810 Copper Avenue Northwest, on the corner of Central Avenue and 8th Street. Admission is free and you can enjoy the city’s longest running farmer’s market! Over 160 vendors will be present each Saturday, selling foods, drinks, arts and crafts, and offering yoga and health and wellness classes. There will be live music as well!
- Railyard’s Market: Take advantage of the Rail Yards Market every Sunday from now through October 27th, from 10am until 2pm at 777 1st Street Southwest. Admission is free and there will be hundreds of items from vendors for sale, such as veggies, arts and crafts, live music, health and wellness booths, and more! There will also be educational opportunities and activities for kids of all ages as well. The entire thing takes place under one roof at the historic Blacksmith Shop!
