April Community Events In Albuquerque

What a month! In April, Albuquerque, NM, residents and visitors can enjoy a number of fun events, many great for the whole family. In today’s blog, we’re going to look at four different upcoming events. We also want to remind our patients that with cosmetic dental care, we can help them attend many of these events with a more attractive smile!

Community Events

1. 2019 Fiestas De Albuquerque: The Fiestas De Albuquerque takes place on April 6^th from noon until 5pm. Admission is free and the event celebrates the birthday of our wonderful city. There will be live art demonstrations, local food and vendors, children’s activities, and a headlining performance from Gonzalo.
2. Turquoise Museum: Enjoy the grand opening of the Turquoise Museum from April 6^th through the 20^th on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The museum is located at 400 2^nd Street SW. Admission is between $16.08 and $21.44. This downtown museum is dedicated to showcasing collectible pieces of turquoise and some of the finest jewelry created with this stone. Housed in a custom castle, the tour is truly a unique experience!
3. Grower’s Market: The Downtown Grower’s Market takes place on Saturdays between April 13^th and November 2^nd in Robinson Park, located at 810 Copper Avenue NW on the corner of Central Avenue and 8^th Street. Admission is free and you and your family can find local foods, arts and crafts, yoga, and enjoy musical performances and fun activities for the whole family.
4. Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival: The 31^st Annual Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival will take place from May 4^th through the 5^th at Rotary Park, located on 300 Rotary Park Road. The festival begins at 9am. There will be fun merchandise, food vendors, arts and crafts, live music, and a children’s area.
