Check Out Four Upcoming Community Events

The months of March and April will be hosting a number of fun events in Albuquerque, NM, including festivals and a new baseball season! In today’s blog, we’re looking at four different community events. We also want to remind our patients that our cosmetic treatments can help ensure they attend the next big festival with a brighter smile.

Community Events

1. Cesar Chavez Day March and Fiesta: Celebrate the incredible legacy of Cesar Chavez at the 26^th Annual Cesar Chavez March and Fiesta on March 30^th at the National Hispanic Cultural Center on 1701 Fourth Street SW. From 10:30 am until noon there will be a March for Justice starting at the NHCC. The two-mile loop will return to the NHCC’s Plaza Mayor via 8th street for the Fiesta from noon until 3:30 pm. The event is open to everyone. There will be food and entertainment, and there is even a Kid’s Corner for the little ones to play.
2. Albuquerque Isotopes Baseball: The 201 Season of the Albuquerque Isotopes Baseball team will begin on April 4^th and last until September 29^th. You can catch games at Isotopes Park n 1601 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE. You can find game times online, admission is from $7 to $25.
3. 2019 Fiestas De Albuquerque: Enjoy the 2019 Fiestas De Albuquerque at Old Town Plaza on April 6^th from noon until 5 pm. Admission is free and the event is open to people of all ages. There will be shopping, local food and drink, artistic demonstrations, free kids’ activities, and performances from local musicians and the headliner, Gonzalo.
4. Turquoise Museum Grand Opening: The Turquoise Museum will be having its grand opening on April 6^th! The museum will be located at 400 2^nd Street SW and tickets run from $16.08 to $21.44. You can see some of the rarest turquoise jewelry and more!
