Upcoming Community Events

1. Albuquerque Film and Music Experience: The 7th Annual Film and Music Experience will take place from now through September 29th at 304 Washington Street SE. This year’s theme is Open Road, and will feature open road movies and soundtracks, as well as directors, writers, musicians, and more on hand to discuss how they made these films. This will also be a 50th anniversary celebration of acclaimed film Easy Rider.
2. Somos Albuquerque: This celebration will take place on Civic Plaza at 401 Second Street NW on September 28th from noon until 11pm. Admission is free, but VIP tickets and other entrance fees could go up to $89. There will be hundreds of artists, performers, technologists, business entrepreneurs, and more on hand to celebrate the spirit of creativity in our city. You can enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and events for the entire family.
3. Tablao Flamenco: Celebrate the Flamenco dance with this fun and exciting event taking place on Sunday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 800 Rio Grande Boulevard NW, at the Albuquerque at Old town. Admission is $10 to $30 and you can enjoy incredible dancing, performances, custom cocktails and a delicious house-made sangria. Thursdays through Saturdays, doors open at 6:45pm and the show starts at 8pm. Sundays, doors open at 4:45pm and the show starts at 6pm.
4. Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival: You and your family can enjoy the Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival from October 4th though the 13th at Sandia Resort and Casino on 30 Rainbow Road Northeast from 9am until 5pm each day. Admission is $10 and kids 12 and under get in free!
