- Black History Festival: The New Mexico Black History Organizing Committee will be hosting several events in honor of Black History Month now through the end of February across the Albuquerque region. This weekend will feature a Race & Law Conference, the Asante Awards, and more. A great educational and celebratory event for the entire family!
- Ours The Zia Sun: The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (2401 12st Street NW) will be hosting an exhibit on the Zia sun symbol, explaining its significance and spread around the world, looking at the origins of the symbol, its influence, and the question of ownership.
- Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Spring Show: The Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival Spring Show will take place at EXPO New Mexico from March 8th through the 10th, starting at 10 am each day. Featuring over 185 artists and craftsmen, you can find unique pottery, jewelry, clothing, woodwork, and more! There will also be live presentations, musical performances, food sampling, and other surprises.
- Friends and Lovers Balloon Rally: The second biggest balloon festival in the country will be taking place in Albuquerque from February 9th through the 10th at Balloon Fiesta Park on 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NE. Festivities start at 8 am each day and the event is free to the public! Great for the entire family.
