July Events In Albuquerque

With the Fourth of July weekend almost here, there will be plenty of fun family-friendly events taking place in Albuquerque, NM. In today’s blog, we’re going to look at four upcoming events taking place in our community. Community Events

1. Freedom 4^th: The annual Freedom 4^th event will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park’s Multi Use Facility on July 4^th at 3pm. Admission is free and the festivities will take place at 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway. Participants can enjoy the largest fireworks display in the state, as well as food and drinks from local vendors, a microbrew garden, and free kids’ activities. The event is great for the whole family to attend to enjoy!
2. 2019 Mariachi Spectacular De Albuquerque: The 2019 Mariachi Spectacular Albuquerque will take place from July 10^th though the 13^th at multiple venues across the city. The event’s 29^th year, there will be conferences, live music and concerts, jam sessions, and more! The final day’s concerts will be held at the Sandia Resort and Casino amphitheater.
3. Lavender in the Village: Enjoy Lavender in the Village at the Agri-Nature Center on 4920 Rio Grande Boulevard NW from 8am until 3pm on July 20^th and 21^st. There will be booths with arts, crafts, lavender, antiques, and unique home décor. They will also have a Kids Farm Camp to keep little ones entertained while parents shop, as well as open-air yoga classes, workshops and seminars, local beers and spirits, food, and more.
4. Rail Yards Market: The next Rail Yards Markets will be on Sunday, June 30^th and Sunday, July 7^th at 777 1^st Street from 10am until 2pm. Admission is free, and you can shop for a number of local goods, crafts, produce, and more.
