Community Events

1. Friends and Lovers Balloon Rally: The 2019 Friends and Lovers Balloon Rally will take place from February 9^th through the 10^th at Balloon Fiesta Park on 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NE. Presented by the Albuquerque Aerostat Ascension Association, the festival features dozens of unique balloons taking flight in the second biggest balloon festival in the country. The event starts at 8am each day and is free to the public. What a great way to send a day with your friends and loved ones!
2. National Fiery Foods and BBQ Show: The 2019 National Fiery Foods and BBQ Show will take place from March 1^st through the 3^rd at Sandia Resort and Casino (30 Rainbow Road NE) from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, 11am until 7pm on Saturday, and 10am until 6pm on Sunday. Admission is $10.50. There will be booths featuring salsas, hot sauces, BBQ, and more, with over 1,000 products available to test and taste!
3. Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Show: The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Spring Show will take place from March 8^th through the 10^th at the EXPO New Mexico Lujan Exhibit Complex on 300 San Pedro Drive NE. The show starts at 10am daily and features over 185 artists and craftsmen from across the United States. There will be contests, demonstrations, live entertainment, food, and more! You can purchase all kinds of craft goods, from jewelry to furniture!
