More Community Events In Albuquerque

We’re in the final month of summer! However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty of summer fun to enjoy in Albuquerque, NM. In today’s blog, we’re going to cover three events taking place in the community. Community Events

1. Albuquerque Art Showcase: The art showcase will take place at the Albuquerque Convention Center on 401 Second Street NW from August 16^th through the 19^th. The showcase will be open each day from 10am until 6pm and admission is free. There will be art from hundreds of artists and representing several different area visual art’s organizations. See unique works of art from incredibly talented local people!
2. Harvest Wine Festival: Blue River Productions presents the Harvest Wine Festival at Balloon Fiesta Park on 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway from August 13^th through September 2^nd. The festival will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 6pm, and Mondays from noon until 5pm. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate. Wine can be sampled from over 20 wineries, and foods, art, crafts and more will be available for purchase. You can enjoy live entertainment, including musical performances, and there is $5 off any bottle of wine with paid admission. Parking is free! A great event for you and your significant other to enjoy together.
3. New Mexico State Fair: Get ready for the 2019 New Mexico State Fair from September 5^th through the 15^th at EXPO New Mexico on 300 San Pedro Drive NE. One of the top ten state fairs in the nation, there will be PRCA rodeo, performances from renowned musicians, Indian and Spanish villages, as well as art, animals, rides, exhibits, and tons of great food and drink! Be sure to bring your entire family to enjoy this amazing event!
