1. Balloon Fiesta Week in Old Town: Enjoy Balloon Fiesta Week in Old Town on Historic Old Town Plaza from noon until 4pm from now through October 13^th. Admission is free and you can enjoy live music, dancing, interesting souvenirs, and visit various vendors selling paintings, jewelry, arts and crafts, salsa, and more!
2. Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta: The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta will take place on 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway from Saturday, October 4^th through the 13^th. Admisison is $10 and you and your family can watch hundreds of balloons take to the sky. There will also be live music, vendors, and more! A wonderful event for everyone in your family to enjoy!
3. Justin Moore and Cassadee Pope: Enjoy live music from Justin Moore and Cassadee Pope on October 12^th at Balloon Fiesta Park on 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway. Admission is $10 to $70 and the show takes place from noon until 6pm. There will also be performances by Tyler Brandon and the Neon West Band. Your family can also enjoy a firework show! A great evening for you and your friends and family to attend together.
4. Big 5 Duke City Marathon: The Big 5 Duke Marathon will take place on Civic Plaza in Downtown Albuquerque at 6:45am on October 20^th. Admission is $32 to $375. This is New Mexico’s longest running fitness event, with seven different races. The events will be open to people of all ages. This is as a Boston Marathon qualifier. A great way to stay in shape, meet new friends, and compete a goal on your bucket list!
